How serious is conductive hearing loss?

Hello! I have heard that my neighbor is suffering from conductive hearing loss. I am very concerned for her and I want to know how serious conductive hearing loss is. I will visit her in next few days and I want to know something more about her condition. I am thanking you in advance on your prompt reply!

Hello! Well, I can tell you that conductive hearing loss can be more or less serious. If it is caused because of earwax or bacterial infection or liquid in middle ear, we can say that it is pretty simple. But, if conductive hearing loss is caused because of tumors or otosclerosis, then conductive hearing loss is very serious and needs to be treated with surgery.
