Hello! I want to ask you following question: how soon should appendix be taken out after appendicitis diagnosis? I am asking you this because my friend is in hospital since yesterday because of appendicitis, but they did not take it out yet. Thanks you in advance for your prompt answer.

Hello! Well, I can tell you that she has good chances to heal appendicitis with antibiotics. I mean, everything depends of organism and inflammation of appendix.
