Hi. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy but I don`t feel as good as I should. I feel exhausted and very depressed. I feel too ashamed to tell my husband about it. What to do? Why am I feeling so depressed? How to reduce these after baby affects?

Hi. It is perfectly normal to feel a bit depressed after delivery. Perinatal depression can happen to every woman. Luckily, there are many ways to treat your depression. Talk therapies are really helpful. Some experts say anti-depressant meds are the best. However, I had a baby 2 months ago and here are some tips for you. Rest a lot. Your husband can help you with the baby. Don`t be alone. Get out of the house, take a walk, you will feel a lot better. Talk with your friends and family. If it doesn`t help, join a support group. Keep it slowly.
