Hello! I want to know how to detect acute attack of gouty arthritis. I mean how to detect gouty arthritis at all. I am asking you this because I am older woman and my family history is already had cases of gout, so, I am a little bit concerned for my health. I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! First of all, there is big toe and pain in it. Also, skin around it is red, hot and swelling. Area is inflamed.
