How to help my four years son to get through our divorce?

Hi, guys. I have a four years old son. My husband and I have decided that it will be best to get divorced. We cannot communicate together anymore. The only thing that worries me is how to help my son to get through this divorce. I would appreciate if anyone could answer me. Bye!

Hi to you too. The divorce is tougher for kids, I think. But if you cannot communicate, then it is better to get divorced. I suggest you to talk to a professional. He will explain you how to deal with your son. He must understand that nothing of this is his fault. But, then again I am not sure whether a kid of his age can understand that at all. I am not sure whether to tell him that daddy has to go to the trip. I hope you will find some good advice with a psychologist or psychiatrist. Bye!
