Hello! I have a six year old daughter. She is a pupil of the first class in our primary school. I noticed she often reverses letters “b” and “d” and words like “saw” to “was”. I know these are the symptoms of dyslexia since my brother had the same impairment. I don’t know if it is too early to react and go to the specialist or there are some ways to find out. Hello! Reversals you mentioned are also common in children who are six years old and younger and who don’t have dyslexia. So, don’t make the fast conclusions. If you see the reversals persist you should visit your doctor. There is no test that can be done at home. Dyslexia diagnosis involves serious evaluation of medical, cognitive, sensory-processing, educational and psychological factors.
