Hello, guys. My friend got second degree burns several hours ago. It seems he has open blisters. I would like to know how to treat these open blisters. Is this complicated? What do you think? All your suggestions are more than welcomed. Thanks for all your help and bye! This will mean a lot to me.

Hello. Don’t worry. It happens that blisters open. I would suggest you to do the following. First, do not remove clothes if it is stuck to the burn. Also, you shouldn’t run water on this kind of wound or even gauze soaked with water since it can cause shock. Burn should be covered by clean or even better sterile, dry gauze. Don’t put the tape over the wound. Bandage shouldn’t be fluffy as well. In any case, let your friend visit a doctor. He/she will know what to do. Good luck!
