How will Prilosec affect my diet?

Hi, I am 34 years old and I am suffering from heartburn for several months. Sometimes it may be very unpleasant and it begins few weeks after I start with my diet. Doctor told me to take Prilosec but I dont know how Prilosec will affect my diet. I would appreciate any information. Thank you.

Hi, I am also using Prilosec and it never had any effects on my weight. It will eliminate sufficient acid from your stomach and calm down your heartburn but I dont think it may affect your diet. However it would be good to consult your doctor about these things you are experiencing.
