Hydrocodone Problem

I have a good friend who is addicted to the pain killer Hydrocodone. Anyhow she wants to stop. Problem is every time she does she gets really bad withdrawals such as sweating and shaking, etc. I was wondering if anyone out there has been through this on its own. I mean without going to a treatment center, if so please tell me what to do for her.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I too have an addiction to hydrocodone. I have had horrible withdrawal symptoms with shaking, pins and needles feeling in my legs, restless leg syndrome. I'm now off of hydrocodone. When I need to take pain medication my husband keeps the bottle and dispenses it as needed and that has helped a lot. My only advice for how you can help is just being there for her and let her know you care. You can solve her problem.
