Hydrocodone prolonging my pain

Hi, I have problems with pain in my left leg. I had broken it on several places and every time the weather changes or when I am staying in place for long time I have pains in leg. The doctor has decided to give me Hydrocodone to help me with prolonging my pain. But I am scared to get addicted to it. What to do?

Just listen to your doctor and you have no worries. The pain is not constant so you dont take it always so there are small chances to get addicted. Even if you take it for some time regularly you can always stop for day or two just to break the habit. But I think that you will be OK.
