I am about 165lb. I gained the last 2 months. Of course, the illegal drugs I was on kept my weight down..I am now clean! I need to know how Hydroxycut would affect me if I was taking an anti-depression and depokote medicine. Summer is coming up and I want to be ready...I only need to lose maybe 30lbs... |

Posted: 05/02/07 - 21:47 Post subject: is hydroxycut bad for genital size or libido |
| im thinking about trying hydroxycut just to shrink a little belly fat. im a muscular 235lb man and im afraid that if i take hydroxcut it may decrease my genital size and possibly curve my mutant-like sex drive or maybe lead to E.D. im cautious about any drug and need true info from anyone who knows because if i must choose from a little belly fat or genital shrinkage i choose to keep my belly fat (note.. any male who reads this and suffers from E.D. try 50 mg of ZINC every other day it does wonders for size and sex-drive P.S. to much ZINC= nausea or vomiting so adjust mgs to fit your individual tolerance.) I had taken hydroxicut for a long time, but was never really consistent with the pills and the times and stuff. I went from a size 8 to a size 1 in a perior of a year. I felt great, weight 118lbs give or take a few pounds. Then I got divorced and instead of feeling depressed and sad and not eating, I felt happy LOL and have actually gained 20 lbs! ( sucks!!!!) At the same time, I stopped taking my hydroxicut pills about the same time my divorce started ( cliche??? ) I started taking these new Allie pills or whatever and they haven't really done anything because I don't eat fat food or greasy food so I don't see any results. Im buying Hydroxicut again and I'm pretty sure I will start losing a few pounds shortly. I think It also has to do with how active you are, and I work out about 4 times per week ( run for 45 mins and do spinning for 20 more).....
I will let you all know what happens next. |

you say that hydroxicut is by far the most amazing dietary suplement you have ever used but yet you only lost 5 lbs in 30 days...are you exercising at all?cause i read the description of hydroxicut and it says you still need to exercise.5 lbs is not amazing im sorry..i used to be huge when i was married..i was 350+ lbs of ugly disgusting fat and i got tired of it one day and started walking.im still overweight at 264 but i think the amount of weight i have lost in just 4 months is amazing..86 lbs in 4 months..without hydroxicut..imagine what im going to lose now that im taking it.
im not trying to depress anyone or say that your not doing great..losing any weight at all is great so dont take it that way..i do have a few words of advice though..if you drink soda..stop..if you eat fast food...stop...im serious dont eat bread dont drink milk stay away from anything white..walk ,jog, run, lift weights do situps and pushups..all these things will help you i know cause they have helped me..and its going to be a hard long road but if i can do it anyone can do it.i was eating fast food every night and drinking at least..6 liters of mtn dew a day
good luck everyone[/quote]

In response to this posting....
I agree with most of what you stated regarding the amount of weight that is a good result verses not a good result. Also regarding working out... That is extremely important as well as a balanced diet and changing your eating habits. Diet aids are NOT meant to replace food or exercise, they are meant to assist in the dieting process and give you a jump start. Whenever you are trying to lose weight, you have to work out. There is no getting around that. Also, eating properly is key. You are NOT suppose to cut out ANYTHING. That includes sugar and fat. Cutting out Carbs white carbs or any other is not going to do you any favors. You need those carbs for energy! Otherwise, your not going to have the strength to work out and you wont be healthy. Rather than not eating them at all, eat in moderation. Try making sure that if you want to eat white carb foods, consume them before 2 in the afternoon that way your body will have time to burn those calories. The bottom line is, Cardio exercise for weight loss, strength training for toning and shaping AND eat in moderation. Change your lifestyle - That is a long term weight loss solution! |

| I wouldn't say I'm overweight (6'1", 215 lbs), but I did have a lot of excess fat around my midsection, and I know I would over eat at each meal (causing my stomach to expand and giving me the GUT). I started an exercise routine using resistance bands and cardio workout (Slim in 6 video) and started using Hydroxicut at about the same time. The combination of the two has caused me to shrink my stomach and my belt size has cinched up 2 notches in just over a month. I haven't noticed any side effects from the hydroxicut, other than I feel full really fast after eating. It took me a while to realize that I couldn't eat the same portion of food that I used to. I initially would eat it all and would feel miserable and bloated afterwards. Now I've reduced my portion size to half of what it used to be and dont feel bad at all after eating. Using hydroxicut hasn't made me thrist for water. I drink 3 travel mugs of coffee a day, and will drink a couple of glasses of water at night at home. I think I'm pretty close to the weight/shape now that I should be at for my height/build, so I might go off the hydroxicut and see if I can keep my meal portions under control. I also want to get more muscle definition, so I'll continue the exercising. My real test is portion control and keeping my stomach small. |

Posted: 04/26/08 - 11:55 Post subject: Hydroxycut worked for me |
| I had gained a lot of weight, about 30 pounds, after I graduated from college and moved back home for a year, in 2004. I worked out at least 3 times a week, but I still gained a lot of weight. I moved out, away from mom's homecooking, to go to grad school. While living on my own I changed my diet and took Hydroxycut. At the same time I did a lot of outdoor running and weighlifting. I lost 30 pounds in less than 2 months. It was a combination of eating right, running outside, working out about 4 to 5 days a week, and taking hydroxycut. I had a lot of energy from taking hydroxycut and my appettite lessened. i was happy with the results. Hope this helps. I will advise against taking the hydroxycut hardcore which is suppose to work faster and better. this made my heart/pulse race and didn't feel right. I also got lightheaded and very restless and anxious. |

I read through some of these threads and agree with most in regards to suppliments helping with weight loss when combined with some activity. One thing to keep in mind is nutrition. I see many comments about less eating, drinking large sums of water etc. One thing that you really need to keep in mind is that your body is gonna get it's nutrition from somewhere so if you don't feed your body what it needs you are placing yourself in harms way. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat so you want to insure you are losing fat and not muscle. Drinking juices such as V8 Splash is good becuse it contains most of the vegetable intake your body needs for the day. Also taking vitamins such as B, B1, C, E and or a multi-vitamin are a huge help as well. Supplements are great products if taken correctly but remember, these are supplements not food. Just some food for thought!
