Hi, my grandmother is becoming hypochondriac. She is always checking herself, going to doctor regularly, performing tests, and taking enormous amount of drugs. She is preoccupied with diseases and she expects others to listen to her worries about what she could be sick of.

Hi, my mother is acting like that all her life. As we were children we couldn’t go out completely protected from all sorts of evil that could harm us. No running, staying outside to play, if we sweat she would become seriously concerned about possibility of catching a cold. We were taken to doctor at least 2 times a month, apart from regular meetings, on any symptom she would notice and consider as endangering our health. She was the worst to herself, always being precautious of catching a disease or finding new signs of aggravation of existing diseases. Even when doctor don’t confirm her suspicions, she keeps believing to be sick and that he has made a mistake. After all, signs of her disease are so “obvious”.
