My doctor advised me hysterectomy in order to remove some uterine fibroids. I have endometriosis and since medications did not help I must go to a surgery. I am interested to learn something about hysterectomy caused scars. The most welcome would be any experience of a woman who had the surgery.
Hi, I had hysterectomy last year. I hope that my experience will be useful to you. Since there are a several different procedures, there is an option for you and your doctor to decide. There is vaginal hysterectomy with no scars, abdominal hysterectomy which cause big scars and laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy. The choice is yours.
