Hi, I have uterus fibroid, and my doctor recommended me hysterectomy. I went on the internet and read many horrible stories about this surgery. I would really like to hear if anyone has a hysterectomy success story. It would really help me to go through this. Thanks!

I had hysterectomy last summer, and there was nothing horrible about it. On the contrary, it was very successful. Of course, it was not an easy experience, but it had to be done. My doctor recommended it to me because I had persistent vaginal bleeding. My blood picture was really bad and I was anemic. After the hysterectomy, I had to recover for several days in the hospital. When I went back home, my husband was helping me to walk and dress, but as soon as I felt better, I continued with my life like nothing happened. The only changed thing after the hysterectomy was my blood picture, which improved a lot. Don’t be scared of all those stories, I hope my experience with successful hysterectomy will give you some courage to do it.
