I just had an IUD inserted today, the doctor had trouble inserting it due to the fact that my cervix wouldn't dilate much even after dilating it with an instrument. My uterus is tilted forward too. It was very very painful for this procedure and I'm still cramping after hours of the insertion. The cramping is very severe and I'm also having lower back and thigh pain. Is it normal to have a constant cramp after the insertion? How long will this last? Thank You
