Hi, I have a painful itching in my vaginal opening because of blisters that have developed. I am not sexually active, 15 years old, so I don’t know how to explain it. I need help!

Hi, it could be some yeast infection and you don’t need to be sexually active to catch it. Viruses can be spread by sharing towels, underwear, in the public swimming pool. So, if you are afraid of visiting your doctor because of no explanation, remember that doctor probably can find some logical explanation. You can apply some antimycotic topical vaginal cream or vaginalets to heal this infection. Some Betadine for irrigation as disinfectant would also be efficient. Drink more yoghurt and try to avoid food reach in carbohydrates, as it improves yeast growth.
