|
|
Hello,
I am engaged for two months and I know my fiancé more than a year. But… I think she is an alcoholic. She drinks wine before lunch!! Sometimes even half bottle! This seems very strange to me. I mean I am al right with a glass of wine or bottle of beer at lunch or dinner time, but before lunch and every day?! Is she alcoholic??

Hey there,
It is hard to say… try talking to her and express your worries. That is my advice. Suggest you two try one or two month without drinking alcohol at all…
Some doctors say it is healthy to drink 1 dcl wine daily (at lunch time)… but people that do not know how to drink alcohol… it is better for them not to drink it at all…I think she is one of them…

| Hey tumolo, I think nails is right. You need to have a clear talk with your fiancé regarding this. If you find that the things you worried about is not actually the fact, then it’s absolutely fine. But, if you find your worries regarding this drinking habit of your fiancé to be true, then I think the first thing you need to do is, tell your fiancé, about the harmful affects of this alcohol and make her realize that it’s better for her health as well as for her life to quit this immediately. And if possible take her to some AA meetings or for some rehabilitation. I think that will do. So, firstly go for the talk. Good luck! |
