I.V fluid and antibiotics for pyelonephitis?

Hello, I have problems with high temperature for two months now. It is around 38C, while during the days it is between 36 and 37, 5. As a result, I was exhausted from time to time, and that really bothered me in my everyday life. I talked to my doctor and was diagnosed with non typical pyelonephritis. I was prescribed with IV fluids and antibiotics. Will that help?

Pyelonephritis is a condition caused by bacteria (in most cases). It affects kidneys and they cannot work properly. Total dysfunction of kidneys might happen followed with changes in urine. The therapy you have mentioned is a common way for dealing with your illness and it should help you. So, don't worry.
