Hi, I`m having some sort of hallucinations. Sometimes they are so vivid that I think I`m going crazy. Perhaps I am. My mood is changing 100m/h. My thoughts are not clear, better to say completely disorganized and sometimes I can`t control my behavior. In one moment I`m cool, but in the next I could kill somebody or freak out. And I`m only 15 years old!!! Am I a schizophrenic?

Hi, my brother had the same problems, but he was diagnosed like a teen, not a schizophrenic. Only, he had no hallucinations. But schizophrenia, come on! Sounds like it, but it doesn`t have to be. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder and can only be diagnosed by psychiatrist. Did you know that patients with schizophrenia live for some 10 - 12 years less than their healthy counterparts and have a high suicide rate? Also, schizophrenia means “shattered mind”, but you sound like a normal teen. I think your hormons are on a high level, so to say. Just in case, did anybody in your family had schizophrenia? Check it out.
