I am 10 weeks pregnant now. I have had 2 abortions when I was much younger. I can't help but feel a tremendous sense of guilt & sadness when I look at the development of my baby. I think about the babies I terninated & how they were developed, fingernails..etc...all the things that should make me happy to learn about my baby inside me now make me cry to think about the one whose life I ended. Anyone else feel this way? Any advice for me?  |

You are about to have a baby, right?
This is going to be for keeps??
Here is the honest deal, BECAUSE you terminated those pregnancies, you NOW can have a stable life for this baby. IF you had those two babies, you may not know the joy of having this baby in stability.
CONGRATS. YOU deserve happiness, Joy, and health.
You do not deserve to be beat up over things that have happened in the past. |

It's ok to feel sad. Even regret. If you are feeling these feelings, acknowledge them. Don't feel you must push them down or rationalize them.
There is a great book called Forbidden Grief. I forget the author but I got it on Amazon.com.
Let yourself grieve, then, you will find peace. And that is what you need.
