I am pregnant and my husband takes drugs

Hello,
i just found out that i am pregnant. now my husband takes drugs since before, and he let me know that also his injecting by using the same syringe with othres. It is possible that there could be something wrong with my baby after delivery? it is posible that because of his drugs to get an unnormal born chield? please answer me as soon as possible. i am so worry and i really dont know what to do. Sad

It is important first of all for you to have yourself tested for HIV because of your husbands drug use. Secondly when you speak to your doctor about your pregnancy bring these concerns up to him/her and ask these same questions. They are medically trained and knowledgeable and would give you a better answer than if I were to respond.

Secondly your husband needs to seek treatment, because his drug use endangers the baby you carry with the government and authorities. You can lose your child when its born if he does drugs.
