I don't know how to cope with my wife's surgery

My wife has breast cancer and has to have one breast removed. For me it is the most important that she will be healthy after that, but she feels terrible because of that loss. I feel sorry for her, but am scared to show that. I don’t know hope to cope with her surgery. Please post.

I had my breast removed and I remember that my husband felt more terrible than I did. I felt sorry for him, like he was he one that was sick, not me. We were lucky to understand each other’s feelings, although it wasn’t easy. Just be there for her as a support and as the best friend. There’s nothing is really tragic in that surgery, you’ll see.
