I felt cramps, am I pregnant?

Hello. Few days ago in a middle of the night terrible pain in my lower abdomen waked me up. I know that it was about 15th day of my cycle and I expected some normal ovulation pains, but this was unbearable.
I’ve never had such painful implantation cramps. I’ve slept with my boyfriend two days before and we didn’t use any protection so I’m afraid of one thing – that I’m maybe pregnant.
I am 22 years old and last thing I need is something like that. What can cause these implantation cramps? What should I do???

Hi, I experienced that kind of symptoms two years ago and I’m sorry to say but when we talk about pregnancy -cramping is usually the first symptom to occur.
I felt it and my pregnancy test was positive.
There is, however, no way to know in advance if any implantation cramps you are experiencing are connected with pregnancy.
Like other signs of possible pregnancy, there is really no way to associate for sure the experience with pregnancy so let’s not jump to conclusions too soon.
That kind of cramps can be also caused by ovary cyst.
First you should do is next – buy your self pregnancy test. It measure level of your pregnancy hormone HCG in your urine. Perform a test at least couple of times just to be sure and than you can make some decisions.
