Hi, I am 25 years old and I am frequently suffering from vaginal candidiasis. I do have sex often with my boyfriend and I take birth control pills for prevention. And I have even done one medication therapy for candidiasis, but it did not help. I admit that I am becoming a bit frightened.

First of all, birth control pills are only helping with pregnancy prevention and if your boyfriend is not using a condom then most likely he is the one that you get candidiasis constantly from. In that case, medications are not helping much; he has to take the same therapy you are using. Only when both of you are cured, you can have sex without a condom.
