I got no treatment for my lupus

I got no treatment for my lupus – is that ok? I have been diagnosed with this SLE disease last week, but I haven't receive a proper therapy, and doctor said that they can only treat the symptoms, there is no cure for this illness?! What am I to do? Occasional tiredness and problems with muscles are not that serious, or are they?

Actually, they are. Well, serious enough for you to be diagnosed with SLE – condition with no cure and effective therapy. The only way doctors can help you is with subduing the effects of symptoms (with medications and therapy, properly choused for your case). I do hope you will be able to sustain this illness under control.
