Hi, I have some new moles on my left leg. I am 20 years old and I don’t understand why are they still developing. Is it normal?

Hi, yes it is normal to have new moles even later in life, at much older age than you are. Moles can drive you nuts, specially if you fear that some of them is becoming cancerous. If you suspect any mole to be malignant, you can easily have it removed by dermatologist. Although, I am very confused by all of the conflicting "advice" on mole control. The mole gets color from the high concentration of melanin, dark pigment. Acquired moles are a form of benign neoplasm, while congenital moles are considered a minor malformation. Some people have large amount of moles on the back, the chest and arms, and on some places you can’t even see a new mole forming.
