Many women will have some spotting or bleeding BEFORE the sugar pill week, it happens, and is often a FLUKE.

If you take your pill every day, and you do not miss pills, then your protection is still good.

Many women spot or bleed when they miss a pill, or if they happen to take one later than usual.

YES.

ANY bleeding you get outside of your 'period/placebo week', NO MATTER HOW HEAVY, is not a 'period', it is called breakthrough BLEEDING.

When the doctor asks you "When did your period begin?" He is asking for your PLACEBO week, NOT when you had spotting. That you would mention later.

You are TECHNICALLY having what is called "BREAKTHROUGH BLEEDING".

Is is normal for women to occasionally have a FLUKE of BTB, it happens.
