I had my tubes tied but am feeling like I may be pregnant...

Hello Everyone,

I got my tubes tied almost 3 years ago, after my dd was born. Since I had my tubes tied I haven't really been too careful keeping track of my periods (didn't feel I had to be). The last period I can remember I had was in Dec. but my husband says I had one after that. When I think back, it seems like my periods have always been regular. If I had my last period in Dec. it was the beginning of the month....so that means I am late. But if my husband is right (really starting to think he is) that means I shouldn't be starting until the beginning of Feb.

As of right now I am having symptoms that could either be PMS or pregnancy symptoms. I've been having some cramping that feels a lot like PMS cramps....but haven't started yet. I've also had some spotting yesterday and today that is only there when I wipe. Usually when it's that time of month I start off with cramps and then a day or so later I start. When I first start it's always more than just spotting. Today I seem to be bleeding a little more, but nothing like I normally do. Since I noticed more blood when I wiped, I put a pad on but there's not too much blood on it. It started out a light pink color but has been getting darker. I'm assuming that it's my period but I'm still not too sure. I am still having the cramping, which usually goes away either right before I start or right after. I feel a lot more bloated than normal, my breasts are bigger but aren't sore, I've been a little nauseas yesterday and today, this morning I got a headache that's different then other ones I've had before, my body is a little achy this morning and I've been peeing a lot more lately. Another thing I noticed was more of a wet feeling, which made me think I started my period.

I doubt I am pregnant since I've started bleeding a little more, but I just wanted to find out if maybe anyone else has gone through something similar. I know that with having my tubes tied it is pretty unlikely that I am pregnant but I just really feel like I could be.

I've been going crazy thinking about this. I've always regretted getting my tubes tied and have actually been thinking about getting it reversed. So I am really hoping that I am pregnant. I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up but it's hard when I have been feeling the way I have. I have 4 kids already and had these same feeling when I was first pregnant with them. The only thing different is the spotting. I'm sure that it's just my period but I feel different than I normally do, so it's hard not to think that I may be pregnant. If anyone has had a similar experience or any insight they would like to share, that would be great! Thank you for taking the time to read this.....sorry it was so long. hey i am respondeing to email the lady wrote about her tubes being tied and thinks she is pregant. i feel the same way she dose. i had my tubes in april of 2000 and sometimes i think i am pregant. and lately i have been very naueas and i actually throwed last sunday at work and i have been having head aches and back aches and my period is not normal. could i be pregant and still have a period.i have two kids and my syptoms are all the same.my breast are bigger than normal they ache sometimes and i even have the brownish stuff coming out of my nipples.

Omg! I can not believe I ran into two postings desribing my exact symptoms. I got my tubes tied a year ago. I feel like I am pregnant, my period started late at the beginning of the month. My breast are tender and have a little deposit coming out. I have also been feeling nausea for the past week. I have two children adn I do not regret getting my tubes tied. I love children and know that are the greatest gift from God!! I really do not want anymore children at this point. I am hoping and praying that my cycle starts on or around Feb 1st and everything goes back to normal! If anyone know of any other reasons why this could be happening besides prego, please let me know!!!! Confused

I am 3 weeks late. I had my tubes tied 5 years ago. I have 2 kids that I love dearly, but don't know if I want another one. I mean, I got my tubes tied... I had to FIGHT to get it done (I was only 22). I knew I was done having kids. Anyways, so, the smell of my daughters chicken noodle sopu made me vomit for hours on end. My boobs don't hurt, but they are bigger. Some cramping, back ache, I am sleeping a LOT. I take 2 naps a day and still get a full 8 hours of sleep a night. I feel full in a sense, but not full from eating, like my stomach feels strangely full. I haven't gone into manic bitch mode yet, like I ALWAYS do when I am 2 days before I am about to start. I took a pregnancy test a week ago, but it was negative. I still haven't started. Could I be???

I would say that you all very well could be PG. My mother had her tubes tied after my sister was born, well 11 months later I popped out. The best thing to do is to go get a HPT and see how that reads. If you still have the symptoms and the test comes back neg, the best thing would be to make an appointment with your Gyn

I got my period but I have bad cramps and alot of vomiting and all the signs of pregnancy as I did with my other children is pregnancy possible my tubes has been tied for almost two years
