My boyfriend and I usually have sex once a week and this time we started with out protection. I was on top and he said he was close but so was I. So he came inside me, we had sex on the last day of my period. What are the chances of me getting pregnant? I've been googling questions I had. Some were answered, but not to a full extent.
I have been running, and jogging, and working my abdominals for the past 4 wks. Is it okay to keep doing this until I take a HPT?
I hope you can give me answers to my questions.

There is always a possibility of becoming pregnant when having unprotected intercourse. As far as when a woman is most fertile and more able to become pregnant, ovulation schedules have to be known and differs from woman to woman. Kits can be bought to figure this.
Ovulation usually occurs before a period but when and how long before as said above varies.
As you did not specify when your last period was and what to expect now or when to test can't really be answered properly. Excerise is fine. A test should be taken when and if your next period does not arrive. Hope this helps. |

| i started on the 17th of Aug. and finished on the 21st and had unprotected sex on the 21st and the 22nd. we figured if we're pregnant we're pregnant. i was looking at fertility and ovulation sites and we decided that we will keep using protection until we find out and then after. we are going to buy a HPT today and take it tomorow. i read that you could tell 10 days after intercourse. |

| Even at 10 days the likelihood of a HPT picking up HCG is next to nill - you may try but I suggest waiting for a while longer. If you wait a week more a blood test can answer more accurate and sooner than a urine test. |
