I am not happy with the results. It didn't do much (in my opinion) to make me look more youthful. I'm still swollen and bruised and I was off work until January 2, 2007 and I had to return to work. I called today (1/3/07) and wanted to get my stitches out two days early because my skin is growing around them and they told me (over the phone) that they weren't ready to come out yet and to keep my regular appointment on Friday (1/5/07). To go back to work (is their claim) the next day, is totally false (in my opinion). There was no way I could go back to work the next day. I was on pain medication for 4 days.
I felt like the Atlanta office wasn't organized and not very professional or informative about the actual results. It's all about the selling game. And if you tick them off, they definitely are not going to be helpful.
I would strongly suggest checking with a regular doctor of plastic surgery to see if the Life style procedure would be a good one for you. I wish I had researched it more before I did this.

Well I do hope when the swelling and bruising are gone, you find you are satisfied with the results.

I understand the Life Style Lift just tightens the skin, letting it (tightened skin) hold up the muscle and fat underneath.

If you feel you haven't received proper care discuss it with an attorney after talking to the surgeon who did the 'lift'.

Good luck!!!

Okay...well just because there are positve replies that doesn't mean they have to be from employees of the company. I had the lifestyle lift and I posted many positive replies about the procedure,,does that mean i'm an employee..no! I'm just a satisfied customer.

But after reading some of the problems that some have had I change my mind. My point is......if youre not sure to have it done. Then refer back to number 1. Very Happy

I weighed out my options before having the procedure done. I choose the LSL for a few simple reasons:

Less downtime for healing less cutting - I had very minimal bruising and swelling, I felt back to normal within a couple of days

Local anesthesia - I felt much more comfortable with this option as opposed to being put to sleep and its possible complications

Trustworthy Doctor - After speaking with the staff and my plastic surgeon I was confident I would get the outcome I was expecting. We discussed what reasonably I should expect from the procedure, risks, etc.

My results are just what I had hoped for. He removed my turkey neck which concerned me the most, smoothed out my frown lines, and did some lipo around my eyes. My results aren't so drastic that people are shocked to see me, but more like they think I've lost weight. Its very natural looking, like me several years in the past.

If you are thinking about it, go do the free consult, talk to the doctor and ask as many questions as you can!

WELL I HAVE TO ADMIT I WAS SKEPTICAL FROM THE START, EVERYTHING WAS A BIT TOO ELUSIVE WHEN IT CAME TO GETTING INFO. THE OFFICE NEAR ME, IN CHARLOTTE NC, OPENED EARLY FEB HOWEVER, I SET UP AN APPT ANYWAY, JUST TO CHECK IT OUT. LET ME SAY THAT I WAS VERY PLEASED! THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL AND I HONESTLY DON'T FEEL AS IF I WAS MISLEAD AT ALL. THEY DO ASK YOU TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT THAT DAY BUT THE FACT THAT IT IS REFUNDABLE AND I ALREADY HAD MY MIND MADE UP, I DIDN'T MIND IN THE END. I AM 59 YRS OLD AND WANTED TO TREAT MY SELF FOR MY 60TH BIRTHDAY, WELL HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME BECAUSE I LOOK WONDERFUL AND IT'S ONLY WEEK #4. EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO THEIR RESEARCH AND TAKE BOTH THE GOOD AND BAD COMMENTS FROM THESE BLOGS, WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.

I agree with you as well. There are definitely some posts in this blog that are being placed by those who have a definite interest in insuring job security. Regardless, there are too many negative reports to ignore. Any business, especially a doctor, that employs high pressure tactics is not professional or ethical. I would rather pay more to be treated professionally.
