I had to go to the ER last night

Hi, I am suffering from anxiety for several months and it really drives me crazy. It is literally destroying my life and I cant do anything against it. Last night I was sitting in my room watching TV when I suddenly felt that I cant breathe, my heart started to beat so strong that I thought I am dying. I ended up in the ER where doctor gave me sedative and sent me home. I don't know what to do.

Hi, obviously you are experiencing very strong attacks of anxiety and panic. I think it would be the best for you to visit your doctor and to consult him about some medication which would help you to overcome this difficult period. Later you will have to make efforts to defeat fear and not let it interrupt your life.
