Ok.my name is Terra and im 16[about to 17] well i didnt want to tell my mom so i told my aunt...and she told my mom. And my mom ask me about it. And i told her the truth. And the first thing she ask me was why didnt u come to me. And i said i thought i would be mad a me. So now she is goin to talk to a doctor about a new thingy called IUD. Well i was wanting to know if ....when i do get the IUD. Like if my Boyfriend does com in me . Then would i get pregant?

A doctor is actually going to put an IUD in?
I am 17, and I cannot find any doctors near me that will place one, because of legal matters that could come up later.
It isnt known for sure yet if IUD's will cause infertility, just something you might wanyt to mention to your mom if she already has found a doctor willing enough to place one in.

Chances of getting pregnant are very very slim, as it blocks things off, but as always there is a slight chance if getting pregnant, as the only 100% effective birth control is abstinence.
