I have a strange period and the condom spilled some semen

A week and a half ago my boyfriend and I had sex. He forgot to put his hand on the condom when he pulled out and some semen dripped out. It did not drip onto my vagina, however, and he instantly grabbed a sock and wiped down to get it off, then flipped the sock over and wiped up. I went into the bathroom and washed with soap and water and ten minutes later he washed me again. I got my period today but it is extremely light and i have brown stuff coming out, along with blood. What does this mean?
