| They're NOT pimples ! They're called Fordyce spots and *many* men have them. They are related to absolutely no disease. They're more harmless than freckles. They are the only a source of cosmetic worries. I personally have them too, including on the base of my penis. At my age, I've have the pleasure to share my anatomy with many ladies, and I never got a laugh from any of them. Some are curious about it, but most girl who has been around the block once or twice will have seen before on another guy. Anyway, here's grounds for being proud of having them at the base of your penis: condom makers artificially introduce similar "bumps" on their condoms for increase pleasure. I've got them naturally! Why should I worry? |

| you will have them all your life, sometimes bigger if you sweat alot. this is normal as when you sweat you end up resoaking the sweat insted of oxygen in areas not covered. As far as poping them, I suggest not to do that because you can allow a Staph infection in there and you dont want to loose that area. Instead, make sure you take at least one soak bath a week. It will help. And if it ever itches or annoys you, use talcum power for 1 week there, it will clear. |

| I have had them for over a year, Ive been too scared to tell anyone about it before and Ive finally found something useful on the matter. Like alot of other posters, I feared an STD even though I have never had sex. I have quite a few more than one or two...I havent managed to pop any as they are just hard white heads. Does anyone actually know how to make them go away? |

Lumps on the scrotum that are normal
Chicken-skin scrotum. It is normal for the skin of the scrotum to look like the skin of a plucked chicken. This is because the hair follicles on the scrotum are quite far apart and prominent, while the hairs themselves may not be very obvious.
Sebaceous cysts are swollen, blocked grease glands that look like yellowish pimples. They often occur on the skin of the scrotum, and there may be a dozen or more. The skin contains millions of glands that make grease to keep the skin waterproof and in good condition. The openings of these glands easily become blocked, so they become distended with grease. For some reason, the skin of the scrotum seems particularly susceptible to this problem. They are harmless, but if they become infected (red and sore) or you do not like the look of them, a genitourinary clinic will be able to treat them.
Angiokeratoma of Fordyce are tiny, bright-red blood-blisters. They usually occur on the scrotum, and there may be lots of them. They are quite common in the late teens, and are normal. Their only problem is that they can be itchy, and may bleed if you scratch them. |

ok guys i have just been 2 the doc and yes they r sweat glands if u do a lot of sport or an environment that is hot and sweaty. Also they can be in ur family genes so maybe ur mother or father. And he said that they r not contages or threatning 2 ur health so us guys r safe there
now there r 3 methods of treating them
1.if it gets red or irratated i found that a cream called voltaren emulgel is good for itand dose stop the swelling and itchyness
2.is a sort of a soap type stuff ill get the name of it soon i have lost the name
3.And this is exetreme only if u really need it is 2 get them cut out i know it sounds like a painful way but it wont stop them from coming back so yea
