I have really irregular periods and I'm 13

I'm 13 and I have been having my periods for about a year or so but I only get them every 3 months or something which means they are really heavy and last sometimes for up to 2 weeks. This really sucks and I would like to know if they are going to even out soon because I faint sometimes when I have them and have to go on medication coz they make me really sick for that time. I have to go to school and its really embarassing to think that maybe one day I'll black out in class or something. Please help me!
