I haven't started my periods!

I am 13 and I STILL haven't started my periods. I am really depressed and this is the age my sister, grandma, great grandma started. My mum started when she was 14, so does that mean I will??? I've been waiting for so long and now my bezzie has started and she is only 12, why do I have to be so undeveloped!? Any advice???

you are not under developed and i wouldnt rush into having periods - they are a pain in the bum most of the time and you'll have them for 40 odd years!!!!

people start at different times, so you may start the same time as your family and you may not! some of my friends didnt start until they were 16/17.

dont worry - you are totally normal and enjoy the rest of the time you have being period free!!!
