Hi. I had a mammaplasty done last year. I am 26 years old. I wasn`t aware of all the risk included and now I can`t breast-feed my baby. I am perfectly happy with the size of my breasts now, but it means nothing to my child. My milk ducts, leading to the nipple, where removed during the surgery. I just wanted to share my experience and I hope my story helps someone. My advice is: always ask about all the risks included.

Hi. I have large, saggy breasts and I was thinking about breast reduction, but not any more. I didn`t know you can`t breast-feed after mammaplasty. I think I will postpone my surgery. I know it is a complicated procedure, that carries many risks (as any surgery does), but until now I though the only risks were visible scars or something. I guess women should be more informed before they go for it. I will definitely wait (better safe than sorry).
