| Ok, so i am a 14 year old girl. And I have a girlfriend. I love her to death. And I know she loves me back. But I just, I feel like shit. Kids constantly call me a dyke and tell me Im nasty. They make me feel like what Im doing is wrong. I guess Im not really confused. I just.. I dont like what itts doing to me. I just want to be normal and fit in. My girlfriend says f*** them. And i know I should. And I dont care really what they say. But it does have an effect on me. I dont know what to do anymore. I know what Im feeling is real. I have no doubts, and ill be with her till' the end. But, what can I do to make the pain of the other kids go away? To make the hell they put me through end. I love Jasmine, nothing they do can take me away from her. But I mean.. I cant take this anymore. But, I dont want to keep it a secret. I want everyone to know the real me.. Id rather have people love me for who I am then hate me for who Im not. My sexual orientation shouldnt matter. But, it does. What can I do to get past it all? Any ideas!? |

| Harassment is a lot harder to deal with and a lot more harsh when you're that age. Kids can be cruel. You're doing the right thing in just being who you are and being with the one you love. There's nothing wrong with your lifestyle, and once people see that what they are saying isnt affecting you then they'll stop doing it and respect you. It might take time, but stick with it because its worth it. Avoid those who treat you badly and be friends with those who are friends back. |

yea that kinda sucks but say f**k you all and i suggest you tell your parents and screw princepals they are retards i get into many fights in school beacause of the princeapal talk to a guidence counselar and ussaly (not always) its confidential so thy cant tell your parents but believe me ive my my problems with bullies and thats basically what they are doing to you but if they are guys they are just jealous they cant have you or jasmine if they are girls they are just self centered and have to make fun of everyone like most teenage girls. but if you are lesbian thats ok you shouldnt care what people say about you i cant do that though do to a short fuse  |

| I'm here to help you, hun. Let me start off by saying that I am a lesbian. My girlfriend and I have been together for almost eight months. She is 19 and I am 18. We are very happy together, but we've definitely have had our hard times. She recently got kicked off her traveling softball team for me. My advice to you would be pretty much what everyone else is saying. Don't worry about what people are saying to you. You are with the one you love--well maybe, you're still young. Just be happy being who you are. The world is full of ignorant people who do not understand that love is love and that it can happen between a girl and a girl, a guy and a girl, and a guy and a guy. Be strong sweetie. You still have a lot to go through, believe me, and it's gonna take a very strong couple to make it through it all. Good luck, hun!! I've been where you are!!
