I'm on birth-control pills and I'm ovulating

I have been on the pill for 8 months now and this month I felt like I was ovulating so I took an ovulation test and it says I am ovulating. What can causes this to happen? is it possible or is the test wrong. And what are my chances of getting pregnant?

The test could be wrong.

You have to read them correctly.

UNLIKE preganncy tests, Ovulation tests ALWAYS have 2 LINES, so you have to figure out how to read the 2 lines accurately.

It would be considered a rare event to ovulate on the pill.
