Hi, sexually transmitted diseases are spread though intimate contact. They can affect both partners, and sometimes they show no symptoms for a long time. Unfortunately, they are very common today, especially in young people. STD can be easily treated, but they can also be very dangerous and incurable. For example, candida that is spread from one partner to another is easily treated, but HPV is not curable and cases cancer in women. That’s why you’re not allowed to make mistakes, and you have to use a condom! Be very careful about this, especially if you sleep with people that you know only for couple of days. You don’t have to panic, it doesn’t mean that this guy was infected with any disease, but just in case, visit your gynecologist soon.
