I missed my period, but now I'm lightly bleeding

I had a miscarraige in late June. My period in July came on the 13th instead of the 10th as in May. I've had unprotected sex with my partner since the miscarraige. As of two weeks ago, I awoke feeling ill, and had one vomiting session after eating lunch on that day. I haven't gotten sick again since then. My period didn't show on the 13th this month. I took two pregnancy test yesterday. The first was at one something in the morning, and the other was after four in the afternoon. Both were negative. I was told that I should wait for at least two more weeks to take another. Today I started lightly bleeding with no cramping. I am confused. I cramped when I miscarried, and my periods are usually heavy.

After a miscarriage you can't expect your periods to restart on their old pattern. It may take a few cycles for them to settle down again. You might find them coming a bit earlier or later, and be heavier or lighter than you would expect. They should sort themselves back into a routine with time.
