Hi! I have teeth problems and wondering if they is someone who could help me. After I felt strong and unpleasant pain I visited dentist and he said that I have an abscessed tooth. So I need apicoectomy. He said it is some kind of surgical procedure. That frightened me! Does anyone have experience with apicoectomy? Is it painful? Am I going to suffer?
Depending which tooth is this all about, apicoectomy can take between 30 to 90 minutes. Apicoectomy is the most difficult to perform in posterior teeth. You will feel no pain because the local anesthetic used for apicoectomy will make you so. After the procedure is finished you can go home. Don’t worry everything will be OK because doctors know what are they doing.
