Hi, I would like to learn more about symptoms of anemia, since I may have it. I am always tired, feeling like I can’t get enough breath. I feel dizziness in head occasionally.

As tissues in the body are left without oxygen, you get a feeling of being tired and weak. Fatigue is the main symptom of most types of anemia. The less red blood cells you have the more severe symptoms will develop. Most commonly symptoms are: fatigue, weakness, fainting, breathlessness, heart palpitations, dizziness. Also seen are: headaches, ringing in the ears or tinnitus, difficulties in concentrating. Depending on type of anemia other signs may be noticed as well. The only way to prove anemia is by a blood test, all other methods are suspicions and guesses.

The common symptoms of anemia include fatigue, lethargy, weakness, poor concentration, and frequent colds. A peculiar symptom of iron-deficiency anemia, called pica, is the desire to eat unusual things, such as ice, clay, cardboard, paint, or starch. Advanced anemia may also result in lightheadedness, headaches, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), irritability, pale skin, unpleasant sensations in the legs with an uncontrollable urge to move them, and getting out of breath easily.
Do you know that supplements of vitamins, minerals, and herbs are important to assist you in fighting anemia, helping you get through the hard time if you have anemia. Iron deficiency is the most common cause of anemia. Vitamin C increases Iron absorption, essential in the treatment of anemia. Yellow Dock has modest amounts of Iron that are well absorbed and can help to raise Iron levels in the blood. Dandelion is used in the treatment of anemia as it may enhance the body's ability to absorb Iron from foods or supplements. Vitamin B12 and Folate are essential for cell replication and particularly important for red blood cell production which is central to the treatment of anemia. You can find more information at "Unauthorized Ad".
