I need to know what my girlfriend is doing! whats wrong with me?

i have this really weird obsession that i need to know what my girlfriend is doing all the time, wen im not at hers i text her lots to find out what shes doing and she just ignores the text or says "dunno" its really stressfull. shes dumped me a few times for it and i dont know how to stop it or help it. i try keeping busy but then the thought of not knowing what shes doing scares me and i have to stop what im doing and go and sit on the computer and wait to see if she comes on msn, and if shes not on msn i get really scared and just wory for ages, sometimes i dont sleep because of it.

what can i do to stop this? am i mentally ill?
