IT'S A SIDE EFFECT FROM POT YOU DICKS, LOOK IT UP. I USED TO SMOKE A LOT OF POT AND I STILL GOT IT, SO STOP PREACHING THAT MARAJUIANA IS ALL GOOD AND AMAZING. IT'S NOT. CASE CLOSED ETC. ETC.
IT'S WORSE THAN COCAINE. |

| you guys all take this shit way serious, just chill out. Weed won't do any permanent damage to your brain. You might be a little bugged out for a while, but if that's the case quit smoking and just chill out and it will all level off. |

| Sethmcduffee wrote: | | What you are all describing is called DEPERSONALIZATION. It is a very stressful and high-anxiety condition where people feel "unreal" or as if they are watching a movie. Other symptoms include sensitivity to light and seeing "floaters" (weird little marks in your vision). I know it is scary, but it is real, and a lot of people who haven't had this problem (i.e. most people who have responded) do not understand it or tell you that it does not exist and that it's ALL IN YOUR HEAD. Which is not helpful and will cause stress because it seems like you cannot get away from the feeling. Know that it will eventually go away, but in the mean-time you can look up some self help forums and sites that deal with it. DEPERSONALIZATION and DEREALIZATION. Most people first experienced it after smoking marijuana. Those of you who have felt this way, you need to know you aren't alone and that it will get better, trust me, as I have suffered from it. I know it can be very scary but you need to consult a doctor, and tell them you think you might have DEPERSONALIZATION or DEREALIZATION. God bless you. |
how long did it take you to get back to normal ??

WEED IS A DRUG...I DONT CARE WHAT YOU ALL SAY ABOUT IT. SINCE I STARTED SMOKING DAILY 5 YEARS AGO. MY LIFE HAS SUCKED AND MY FAMILY HATES ME...IT KILLED MY BUSINESS AND TOOK MY LIFE.
HOW MANY RICH SUCCESSFUL POT HEADS DO YOU KNOW?
TRY SMOKING AN OZ OF THE DANK A WEEK FOR 5 YEARS AND SEE HOW YOU FEEL AND TELL ME ITS HARMLESS. SEE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE LEFT IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING. IM SURE LIFE IS NOT A DREAM COME TRUE.
DONT LEGALIZE IT....MAKE IT A FELONY.
WE DONT NEED A WORLD OF BRAIN DEAD UNMOTIVATED POOR LOSERS LEGALLY. |

I've smoked marijuana/cigerettes on a daily basis
for the past 3 years and have had no serious problems
Im 15 years old and live in good ol' new jersey
where recently I've been exposed to more hard drugs
I've done LSD and cocaine quite a few times in the past
6 months and have even smoked crack and freebase
After experiencing these mind altering drugs
i havent been the same, constant sick feelings in my stomach
difficulty sleeping/eating/reading everyday tasks have
become sort of a hassle, also I experience deep depression
and random bursts of uncontrolable blind fits of rage
im in constant trouble in school, and even had to see a
psychiatrist today where I bullshitted my way out of any
aparent problems and had excuses for all my previous criminal/disaplnary records. Any suggestions on what I should do would really help |

| Three weeks ago I ingested a bit too much marijuana. It was the first time that I have been high. Everything was going fine until two nights ago. I woke up and my sense of touch was completely distorted just like it was when I was high. It has been like that for the past two days, and I am hoping it will stop soon. If anyone knows what is going on or what I can do about it, please let me know. THanks |

Ok, so let me just say that people making others feel bad about a serious question is so unlike the lovin potheads i know.
If you are so chill why the animosity?
I've been looking over websites and lookin for the answer to this myself. I havent smoked in years. Literally its been like ten years.
I recently dated a guy who smoked a lot and got tempted to dabble. I smoked for a few days in a row and found that three days later, I still feel slightly high.
Now I'm pretty self aware and know that this is not paranoia. I know how quick or slow my mind noramlly works, and how my awareness has been effected.
Pot is fine, there's nothing wrong with it, but honestly I would never drive, go to work, or any other important possibly dangerous activity when i'm high, just like achohol. But the thing i dont like is that when im drunk, and then i sober up, i dont walk around days later still feeling slightly drunk.
And thats how feel right now. I feel like im still coming down from a high. And to all those out there who feel the same way, ITS NOT IN YOUR HEAD. You are actually feeling the THC that has built up in your fat cells slowly realeasing into your system. Unfortunately, you probably are overewiegt (like me) so the heavier (as in fatter) you are the longer the potential of residual high you might feel. Not the thing is not to get crazy about it, or move to paranoia, but to simply eat healthy, drink lots of water and even consider a detox product or cleansing program. there are many for sale in healthfood stores or on line. I have one and i'll post if it works after I take it.
In the meantime, take it easy, and lets start excersizing so we dont have to deal with these friggin aftereffects for longer than the skinny people. |

How to speed up the process?

Ok so you have a life and need to get back to being your old time-aware, quick-tongued, sharp witted self?
As far as I can tell, this is a cleansing and flushing issue.
