I am 19 years old. i have a strange lump on my left testicle. i actually noticed this at a very young...May have been 10-12 years old. I thought nothing of it at the time. i now am begining to worry about it for no apparent reason. I jump to conclusions of testicular cancer but its been at least 10 years now since i have first noticed it. I have no pain or discomfort at all and never had. I then thought it was a cyst but those have pain, then i thought it was a tumor but so no signs or symptoms of it. then i read that sometimes men just have abnormal growth on the epidmis. anyone have any idea what i got?

I have exactly the same problem!! I was also about 11 or 12 when I noticed it by my left testicle and I went to the doctor - he just felt it and basically said it's nothing to worry about and it shoudl go away. But I am now nearly 17 and it's still here. Just like you, there's no pain or discomfort at all and never has been. Any ideas anyone?

It may be a benign cyst, but the expert is the one who examined you first hand.

If you want confirmation, schedule an appointment with your doctor and tell them up front about why you want to be examined.

Don't worry. Get checked.
