I think i have an addiction to soda i dont drink water i only drink water at school sometimes but other than that im always drinking soda or somethin thats not water i heard that people get rocks in their body for drinking alot of colored soda and i want to know if this is true and how can i stop drinking so much soda ...

I AM ADDICTED TO SODA. THAT IS THE ONLY THING I DRINK. FROM RIGHT WHEN I WAKE UP, TO BEFORE GOIN TO SLEEP. BECAUSE OF THIS ADDICTION, I HAVE GAINED A LOT OF WEIGHT. i WENT FROM 140 TO 170 POUNDS IN JUST A COUPLE OF MONTHS. I NEED HELP, WHAT SHOULD I DO?? Crying or Very sad

Sodas are high in sugar which adds to your calorie intake and causes weight gain unless you're very active physically. And as I have heard, drinking large amounts of soda for long periods of time does cause kidney stones which are EXTREMELY painful to pass. The only thing you can do is stop drinking soda. You can carry a bottle of water with you or you can drink unsweetened flavored tea, preferably some that you made at home because it won't have any unnecessary additives. Good luck!

Okay; I used to have the same problem. You're not addicted to the soda its self or the sugar you are addicted to the carbonation. The bubbles make it more fun to drink... Go to the store and by a case of carbonated water. Then put them in the fridge and then take all the soda and put it out od sight then when you get the urdge to drink soda go grab a bottle of that water, It helps Razz
