Hello, I would like some help here. I have been an alcoholic for 10 years and I would like to know if there is still a chance for me to quit using alcohol. I cannot say that I am constantly drunk, I am more of a weekend warrior, but each time I drink I get wasted completely. And I am 37 years old and I can’t live like that anymore.

For now the best thing for you is to find out all the possibilities when it comes to dealing with alcoholism. I guess you already know that you could combine therapy sessions and some meds that will help you deal with this problem. Of course, this all is done under the surveillance of the doctor and yes, you will need a lot of will to succeed, but you do have determination, and that is always a good sign.
