Ok so first of all, I'm 19 years old, fainting is sort of normal for me. Since I was little, I can hit my elbow or any other nerve, and just pass out. But I've always kept breathing and it always felt the same. Its been about 2 years since I last fainted, til now.
About a month ago, during my last period, I had a horrible cramp that went from my lower abdomen (menstrual cramp) to my stomach then I fainted, I stopped breathing and my eyes were open. I usually wake up hot, this time I was cold. A week later, I stood up too fast and I passed out. Then about 4 days ago, I walked down some stairs and felt dizzy, sat down and passed out again. For the last three months, I've had bad period-like cramps when I wasn't on my period. They are usually on either side. Lower back aches too. When I'm working, in a restaurant, I get very dizzy and lightheaded and space out alot.
My mom was hypoglycemic when she was about my age. She thinks it might be that, but we aren't sure. Everyone at my work that knows whats been going on, keeps asking me if I'm pregnant. They said that being pregnant and not eating right can cause low blood sugar. I just took a pregnancy test and it was negative, but my next period isn't for another week.
I have a doctors appointment April 4th, I wasn't able to get one sooner. I'm just anxious to know what is going on with me right now. I'm very scared. So if anyone who reads this happens to have any ideas or comments, please let me know! Thank you so much!! |
