I've tested negative for everything but still have problems

I've been experiencing vaginal problems probably for the last year.
Starting with extra discharge, which didn't bother me too much.
I experienced what i assume was a yeast infection, but regular treatment didn't seem to work.
The itching would come and go.
I also sometimes have a tiny bit of bladder leakage. (maybe unrelated?)
After a while, my discharge was excreting in larger amounts.
I've had i think 2 or 3 exams by a doctor, (where a swab is taken and I was examined, just basic stuff)
I tested negative for all infections,
as well as negative for all diseases.
I have had a really wonky, brownish period for the past 2 weeks now.
This may be because I am not exact with my birth control pills, but i'm on exact schedules now incase this is the problem.

Today, which prompted me to come on here, my labia minora are very swollen, tender, and uncomfortable. It's burning as well as itching a small amount. I looked at it, it looks like the right side is a bit more swollen.

What might i be experiencing? The doctor I've been seeing thinks it's normal.

Things to consider:
-i have been on Birth Control for the past 3 years (I'm almost 17)
-i have a boyfriend and we have been sexually active (hardly, because of these problems i have)
-i noticed i get a bit itchy after being in contact with a condom+/& lubrication.
-My discharge is mucus-like and doesnt have much of a smell to it.

At first, I thought it could be bacterial vaginitus. But, you mentioned that your discharge is mucus like with no odor. With BV, a distinct fish-like odor is usually present, along with other symptoms. But, some momen experience no symptoms at all with BV. That is more of an exception to the rule though.

My guess is that it is condom related. If so, it could be one of two things (or both, though unlikely). And those two things are latex condoms, and spermicide. Most condoms are made from latex, and many of those contain a spermicide as well. Some people are allergic to either of these. Rarely - though it could happen, a person could have allergic reactions to both latex and spermicides. Anyway, I would suggest trying one of the following:
- If you are using a latex condom without spermicide, switch to a non latex condom and see if that helps.
- If you are using latex condoms that have a spermicide (such as nonoxyl-9), switch to a latex condom without a spermicide. If the symptoms you are experiencing continue - or return, then switch to a non-latex condom.
If all else fails, let me ask you this. Is the doctor you have been seeing a gynecologist? If not, then I would recommend that you schedule an appointment with one because they would more qualified to accurately diagnose and treat something like this.
I'm not a doctor, but I gave you my best guess as to what this could be. Give it a try. I hope this helps you.
